Man's Best Friend

Entry for =DryBones44's drop out contest, the theme was 'best friends'. Not as much as I wanted to do, I wanted to do a showcase of a boy adopting a pet all the way to the dog dieing... but that didn't turn out so good, because i had like, four panels.

Generally, this was the first thing i thought of when i heard the theme. I've known my dog, Bonnie, since long before I came to school and met human friends. She's pretty much my 'best friend', allthough i usually don't include her.

Every day when i come home the walks over to me, she sinks her head in my lap and trods all over my toes...
...and she always drops her balls a mile away from me and expects me to throw them for her.

Also, it was just mad hard to get that dog to look right, i couldn't get the ears they way i wanted, the nose looked too small, the feet looked too far apart, and the fact i had a power cut halfway through did. not. help.
I'm still not entirely satisfied with it...

I did make a background, but it was a tad 'snappy' and looked much better without, it makes the dog look happier and free-er. I gues i could have made another one, but i had little enough time anyway.
